Polished Man 2016 — Raising awareness of violence against children

Polished Man is a social and behavioural campaign aimed at stopping male-led violence towards children. Established in 2014, Elliot Costello from YGAP approached Clear to set about creating a campaign to start changing mens behaviour.

Building upon the campaigns successes, Clear worked closely with the marketing team to simplify the messaging and staging of the campaign. We designed the key creative, website, art directed the various photo shots and prepared significant guidelines to support the in-house capability at YGAP. Our approach was informed by the research and data prepared by YGAP, guiding our messaging and channels in which we communicated in.

Since launching the campaign in September, 2016 Polished Man is going from strength to strength -- From being discussed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Kelly Slater and Vance Joy all signing up. With in six weeks the Instagram account has grown to 15,000, Over 64,000 registrants and over $650,000 dollars raised. 

From one moment a movement has been created.
