Rejuvenating a boutique work precinct on the fringe of Brisbane

159 Coronation is a boutique work precinct located on the Brisbane River in Milton, 3km from Brisbane’s CBD. This building’s refurbishment, led by Fender Katsalidis Architects for Wallum Partners, reinstates the clean lines of eighties architecture while adding important environmentally sustainable design interventions.

As part of the overall commission, Clear developed the strategy, brand, campaign, signage and wayfinding for the precinct. The brand mark and hero imagery take inspiration from the building’s form, the abundant natural light and materials within the architecture. Created with varying materials, scale and dimension, the signage is equal parts directional as it is sculptural. The geometric forms draw inspiration from the building’s floor plan, contributing to the texture and visual interest of the precinct and surrounding environment.
