Clear Sky

In this moment, we are experiencing significant change and cultural upheaval. Our sense of hope and happiness, our celebration of the good and what brings us joy, is being tested. Yet instead of folding, we need to lean into optimism with renewed rigour, protect the meaningful moments we can celebrate, and bring positive leadership to creativity, light to the dark, and inspiration to every conversation.

Introducing Clear Sky,  a multi-part series that aims to find happiness, celebrate the bold and explore the possibilities of design through interviews, research, and music. We know that when happiness becomes a ‘core’ creative value, our approach to work and life is enhanced. Clear is committed to delivering creative joy.

Wonder Edition

The Clear Sky Wonder Edition was designed by Fanny Sallinen, designer at Clear. For Fanny, wonder is about curiosity, experimentation, making time for play in all aspects of life. From her interest in trying new food to her desire to travel far and wide, and letting everything inspire her. From a design perspective, this means asking ‘what if…’ and figuring it out from there. And so, our friend Wilbur was born and is the star of the edition.

Joy Edition

The Clear Sky Joy Edition was designed by Tyler Zebra, senior designer—motion at Clear. For Tyler, joy is getting outdoors and exploring, and from a design perspective, it’s combining and experimenting with different mediums. So after a recent hike to Mt Feathertop, the idea to merge photos from the trip with retro animated type was formed. Throw in a funky Parcels tune and you’ve got the April edition of Clear Sky.

Edition Fun

The Clear Sky Edition Fun identity was designed by Maya Norman, design intern with Clear, February 2026. Maya willingly worked through the brief while juggling a busy schedule to create our first bundle of joy. Each edition will feature a visual interpretation of the word ‘Clear Sky’ shaped through typography, colour and movement.
