Life is best lived when curiosity is kept alive

On the cusp of Studley Park, in a heritage precinct of Kew, lives a community fit for the most courageous and imaginative. A residential precinct with all the features of a five-star hotel, St. Clare is a wellness sanctuary designed to set a new standard for communities dedicated to those of retirement age.

Born from the idea ‘life is best lived when curiosity is kept alive’, the brand for St. Clare positioned the precinct—and our client, VMCH—as leaders in residential developments for the over-55s. St. Clare was created to reimagine retirement living; to engage the very same generation who attended Led Zeppelin concerts and travelled the world, who now enjoy new hobbies, fine wine, and quality dining.

Vibrant garden spaces designed by Oculus are an outdoor oasis for residents to meet and interact. The precinct, and grand-scale homes themselves were designed by Woods Bagot Architects. Purpose-built community spaces are located within the remodelled heritage spaces of the existing buildings. The design system inspires, its warm colour palette complementing the greenery of the site, paired with a soft, organic wordmark and refined imagery to depict a community of like-minded individuals enjoying the world-class dining, wellness, and recreation amenities of St. Clare.
