We’re completely engrossed in the long-awaited biography of Nick Cave, Boy On Fire. Not your classic Christmas novel, PS Your Cat is Dead is next on our list. This bizarre black comedy has an enormous cult following, having also been adapted for stage and screen.

Filmed over six years, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea is a spectacular and breathtaking series from director Ken Burns. Known for his decade-long residency at Paradise Garage, we’re listening to everything Larry Levan. Tarantino films are known for having a pretty iconic soundtrack, so it’s easy to see why they make for such an excellent compilation. We’ve been revisiting Twin Peaks a bit over this year, for obvious reasons. This led us back to experimental band Xiu Xiu’s tribute album which is a beautiful and unique take on the music from this iconic series.
